| Elaine (Bassett) Snow
TEMPLE, Texas - Elaine (Bassett) Snow, age 60 of Temple, Texas, went home to the Lord after a battle with cancer November 9, 2014, at the VA Hospital in Temple. She was born on May 15, 1954, in Dover, the daughter of the late Ralph and Annie (Gregoire) Bassett.
She grew up in Lee, and graduated from Oyster River High School in 1972. She served eight years in the Army as a Supply Specialist in Germany, Desert Storm and Ft. Hood, Texas. After the Army she was employed at the VA Hospital in Texas. She moved to N.H. and was employed at the VA Hospital in Manchester. She moved to Temple, Texas in 2007 where she resided with her husband.
She had a military funeral at the Veteran's Cemetery in Killeen, Texas.
Elaine is survived by her husband, Andrew Snow, children David Snow, Genny Easson and husband Eric of Texas, Nadine DeGroat and husband James of Milton, siblings Ralph Bassett Jr and wife Cindy of Sanbornville, Kenneth Bassett and wife Diane of Middleton, Dennis Bassett of NM, Maurice Bassett of Texas, and Marie Jones and husband Robert Sr of Dover. She has six grandchildren Cheyanne, Kristeen, Heather, Keisean, Zakery and Baby Zander on the way, and uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
