| Jeffrey R. Blanchette
BIDDEFORD - Jeffrey R. Blanchette, 34, formerly of Newmarket and Lee, died Aug. 23, 2010.
Born Oct. 7, 1975, in Exeter, N.H., he was the son of Thomas R. Blanchette and Nancy (Gorski) Blanchette. He was a 1995 graduate of Oyster River High School and a 1997 graduate of Laconia Technical Community College, where he studied electrical engineering.
Jeffrey was an electrical engineer in Massachusetts.
He was a 21-year member of the Sons of The American Legion, Squadron 67 in Newmarket. He enjoyed music and hanging out with friends.
Survivors include his mother, Nancy Curran of Biddeford, with whom he presently resided; maternal grandmother, Alice Gorski of Newmarket; his father, Thomas Blanchette and his wife, Paula, of Newmarket; two sisters, Amanda Raymond and her husband, Ryan, of Newmarket, and Andrea Blanchette of Newmarket; stepbrother, Tony Curran of Middleboro, Mass.; three stepsisters, Debbie Leander of Durham, N.H., Terry McFarlane of Suwanee, Ga., and Crissy Dzielak of Hendersonville, N.C.; and several cousins.
He was predeceased by his stepfather, David Curran in 2009; his maternal grandfather, Henry Gorski; and paternal grandparents, Richard and Jean Blanchette.
