DURHAM - We are sad to announce the passing of Mark Coburn aka “Hook” of Durham. Mark passed on the 27th of October succumbing to recent health problems. Mark was surrounded by loved ones when he passed.
He was a proud father of three, a grandfather of five, a brother, a son, everyone's favorite uncle and loving partner to his devoted girlfriend.
Mark lived his entire life within shouting distance of Durham, in fact if you heard someone shout “Hey Hookie'' they were shouting at him. Mark lived a full 63 years of life and made a lot of good friends and lasting memories along the way.
