GOFFSTOWN -- Cindy C. Collier, 57, died July 29, 2010.

She was born Sept. 15, 1952, in Goffstown, to Lawton and Betty Connor. She attended Goffstown Elementary and graduated from Oyster River High School in Durham. She received her B.S. from the University of New Hampshire 1974 and a degree in Public Health and Hospital Administration from Tulane University in 1977. She served as a U.S. Navy lieutenant at Pensacola Florida Naval Medical Institute from 1977 to 1980.

She volunteered for Child and Family Services in Manchester from 1989 to 1990.

She was a talented and accomplished artist. She was an avid gardener, home decorator, and floral designer, having recently completed a course in California in floral design.

In addition to her parents, family includes her son William Clayton Collier and her daughters Rachel Collier and Johanna Collier, all of Baton Rouge, La. ; a brother, Alan Connor of South Glastonbury, Conn.; two sisters, Shelley Vincent of Exeter and Wendy Lannon of North Woodstock; and several nieces and nephews.
