MADBURY - Jean A. Gahan, 64, of Madbury, died Wednesday, August 6, at Massachusetts General Hospital after suffering health complications.
Jeannie was born in Dover, on January 22, 1950, to the late C. Jean Virgin (Connor) and Ernest E. Gahan in Dover. She graduated from Oyster River High School in 1968. She held several various jobs, until her health forcedher to resign from the workforce. Jeannie was her mother's caregiver for many years until her death in 2011.
A very spirited person, she loved her family unconditionally. She was always ready to help people in need even though sometimes she was the person who was in need.
Jeannie is survived by her brother, Robert Gahan and wifeCarol, of Barrington, her nieces, M/Sgt. Michelle Cascio, her husband, Jeff, who will be stationed in Italy, and Holly Lapierre, her husband, Ed of Rochester. She is also survived by their children, Dylan, Luke, Joshua, Isaac, Kaelyn, Zachary, and Mason. Family members also include aunts, uncles, and cousins, who were all very special to her. Her good friends Pat and Tom Starratt and their family were always there for her.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in her name may be made to the charity of one's choice.
