David W. Hooper
Age 56, of Plainsboro, NJ, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2011 at the Merwick Care and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Washington D.C., he lived in Delaware for many years before settling in New Jersey 15 years ago. Mr. Hooper received his Bachelors Degree from the University of New Hampshire and went on to earn his Masters Degree from the University of Michigan. He was employed as Computer Analyst for the Dupont Company. He also did private consulting.
Mr. Hooper previously had been an active member of the Elsmere Presbyterian Church in Delaware. He enjoyed hiking, camping and singing.
A beloved father and husband, he is survived by his wife of 31 years, Claudia D. Rehrig; 2 daughters Amanda Salmoiraghi and her husband Joseph and Rachel Hooper; 4 brothers, all of Maine; 2 grandsons, Benjamin and Timothy, many loving nieces, nephews and extended family, including Tim Hooper, his devoted nephew and caregiver.
