BARRINGTON—George S. Lloyd, Jr., 69, of Pumpkin Hollow Park., passed away peacefully with his family and friends by his side Thursday, September 22, 2011 at the Hyder Family Hospice House.
He was born in Gardner, Me, August 5, 1942 the son of George S and Lottie (Curtis) Lloyd Sr. He has lived in New Hampshire most of his life and is a graduate of Oyster River High School.
He served proudly in the United States Navy and is a proud member of the Rochester American Legion Post 7.
He loved to hunt, fish and enjoy all outdoor activities. He enjoyed the holidays and loved spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years Frances E. (Gadbois) Lloyd, two sons and one daughter George P. Lloyd and his wife Katherine I. of Rochester, Kim M. Lloyd of Barrington, Scott D. Lloyd of Epping, six grandchildren Kela L. Codair of Somersworth, George Kenneth and Brittany R. Lloyd of Rochester, Deanna M. and McKenzie R. Lloyd of Farmington, and Riley Kenneth Lloyd of Epping, two great grandchildren Aiden S. and Sadie A. Codair of Somersworth, two sisters Sandy J. Wiggin of Dover, and Janet L. Spencer, of Titusville, Fla., and many nephews, nieces and cousins.
He was predeceased by his son, Kenneth Wayne Lloyd. |
