Laurel Silverman DURHAM - Laurel Helen Silverman, 54, of 10 Wendel St., Cambridge, Mass, died Sunday, June 16, 2002, at her residence. Born April 2, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., she was the daughter of Robert and Frances (Kerstien) Silverman. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin and was employed as editor with the Consumer Law Center. Survivors include her parents of Durham; a brother, Peter Silverman and his wife, Patricia Lane of Evanston, Ill.; one sister, Abby Silverman-Claridge and her husband, H. Charles Claridge of Durham; tow nephews, Leslie Claridge and Aaron Silverman; and one niece, Alyssa Silverman.
