Dennis W. Ury, III

LEE — Dennis W. Ury III, 41, formerly of Chicago, died Saturday, June 2, 2001, at his mother’s home in Lee.

Born October 2, 1959, in New York City, he was the son of Ann (Donovan) Ury of Lee and Dennis W. Ury Jr. of Jersey City, N.J.

He attended the Oyster River Schools, the New York High School of Art & Design, The Rhode Island School of Design and the Chicago Art Institute.

A life-long artist, he established galleries in both Providence and Chicago.

He is survived by his parents; two brothers, Michael J. D. Ury of Lee and Jonathan E. Ury of Eliot, Maine; a sister, Katherine S. Steiger of Brookline, Mass.; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Dennis W. Ury of Southampton, Mass.; and several nieces and nephews.
